Fly Fishing Clinic
Here's what three of the country's top flyfishermen have to
say about it:
'What a great little book! I wish it had been around when
I started fly fishing.' - Robert
van Rensburg, captain of the South African national fly fishing
team. Winner of the 2005 South African Nationals.
'Not before time - a beginner's book by two of South Africa's
finest instructors and guides. Read and apply every word!' -
Mark Yelland, fly fishing guru, owner of The Fly Shop in Bryanston
and member of the South African national fly fishing team.
'If you only buy one book on fly fishing, buy this one!'
- Jim Keaveney, well-known Dullstroom
trout fishing expert. With 60 years experience of fly fishing
in both Scotland and South Africa, he knows what he's talking
About the authors:
PAUL CURTIS has been fishing for most of his life. He
was the first South African flyfisherman to gain R.E.F.F.I.S
(UK) approval as an instructor and guide. He was a founder member
of Dullstroom Flyfishers and he has pursued trout throughout
South Africa as well as all around the world.
JONATHAN BOULTON is also a member of R.E.F.F.I.S and
is one of South Africa's best-known flyfishermen and guides.
He has a B.Sc. in Zoology and is the owner of Mavungana
Fly Fishing in Dullstroom. During the northern summer he
and his wife Sarah, who illustrated the book, run a salmon fishing
lodge in Russia.
